WHITE ADHESIVE

Description

Adeziv ALB is a white powder consisting of WHITE cement with fractioned and polymeric additives, fine and medium quartz sand, white reinforcing fiber, and other minerals. The "Adeziv ALB" mixture is recommended for facing with ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware, decorative stone, medium and large-sized porcelain (120x250 cm) of various types and thicknesses (0.5cm-5cm), marble, on mineral surfaces (concrete, plaster, etc.), as well as for reinforcing fixed thermal insulation systems. It can be used for clinker facing without grouting (joint). The adhesive is recommended for exterior and interior work, in rooms with increased humidity, with working temperatures between +5℃ and +25℃, protected from direct sunlight.

Surface Preparation

Ensure that the surface is straight, well cleaned of dust, dirt, paint, and grease stains. Apply a layer of primer (recommended Grund Superior Universal) on hard surfaces (concrete, fortan, cement-based plaster), or Beton-Contact (recommended Beton Contact Extra) on gypsum board surfaces, aerated concrete blocks, etc. Terracotta made from water-absorbing materials (clay-based or with clay additives) must be soaked in a container with water for about 5 minutes, then removed before use. Thoroughly wipe medium/large-sized marble or porcelain tiles with a damp sponge to remove the factory-applied grease layer. Apply the adhesive on both surfaces (tile/surface where the tile is applied).

Adhesive Preparation

The entire quantity of mixture intended for preparation is uniformly mixed in a container with water using a low-speed mixer, then left for 10 minutes to obtain a homogeneous mass, after which it is mixed again before use.

Mixing proportions:

• For walls: 0.2 liters of water per 1kg of dry mixture
• For floor: 0.25 liters of water per 1kg of dry mixture

Application Method

Perform work at temperatures between +5℃ and +25℃. Apply the adhesive uniformly on the prepared surface with the flat side of the notched metal trowel, then process with the notched side at a 90° angle. Place the tile (of all types) on the prepared mixture layer on the surface, then press it slowly with circular movements. If the surface where the tile is applied has been treated with primer or beton-contact, its position can be adjusted for up to 20-35 minutes. The prepared adhesive can be used for approximately 120-180 minutes. Use only clean vessels and tools.

Consumption

The mixture consumption depends on the thickness of the applied layer, varying between 3-6 m² per 25 kg bag.

Warranty Conditions

Store the dry mixture in rooms with air humidity up to 60%, on wooden pallets, in undamaged bags. Shelf life: 12 months from the production date (indicated on the bag). The manufacturer is not responsible for cases where all the steps indicated above are not followed.
