IZObeton FACADES

DESCRIPTION

IZOBETON for FACADES adhesive is a grey mixture consisting of CEM II 42.5R cement, quartz sand with fractioned additives and polymer additives that provide elasticity and fixation, with small fiber particles to ensure better resistance. The adhesive is recommended for both exterior and interior work. In rooms with increased humidity, the working temperature should be from +5℃ to +25℃, protected from direct sunlight.

AREA OF USE

The adhesive can be used for facade cladding with mineral wool of any type or thickness, with polystyrene boards (foam), as well as for reinforcing thermal insulation systems. It can be used for decorative walls and/or decorative stone in interior/exterior work.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface must be straight, well cleaned of dust, dirt, paint, and grease stains. Apply a layer of primer on hard surfaces (concrete, fortan, cement-based plaster) or BetonContact on gypsum board surfaces, aerated concrete blocks, etc. Marble or decorative stone of all sizes should be well wiped with a damp sponge to remove the layer of grease or dust. When using the adhesive for terracotta application, it should be applied to both surfaces (on the terracotta and on the surface where the terracotta will be applied).

ADHESIVE PREPARATION

The entire quantity of mixture intended for preparation is uniformly mixed in a container with water using a low-speed mixer, then left for 10 minutes to obtain a homogeneous mass, after which it is mixed again before use.

• For walls: prepare mixture in the proportion of 0.2 liters of water per 1kg of dry mixture
• For floor: 0.25 liters of water per 1kg of dry mixture

APPLICATION METHOD

Work should be carried out at temperatures above +5℃. The adhesive is applied uniformly on the prepared surface with the flat side of the notched metal trowel, then processed with the notched side at a 90-degree angle. If the board on which mineral wool or polystyrene is applied has been treated with primer or betoncontact, its position on the wall can be adjusted within 20-45 minutes. The prepared adhesive can be used for approximately 120-240 minutes. Use only clean vessels and tools. The consumption of mixture on the prepared surface depends on the thickness of the applied layer. Consumption varies between 3-8 m² per 25 kg bag.

STORAGE

Store in rooms with air humidity up to 60%, on wooden pallets, in undamaged bags.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

Shelf life - 12 months from the production date (indicated on the bag). The manufacturer is not responsible for exceptional cases when all the steps indicated above are not followed.
