IZObeton SUPERIOR

DESCRIPTION

IZObeton SUPERIOR - is a C1TES1 class adhesive consisting of CEM II 42.5R cement, fine quartz sand, and high-quality fractional and polymeric additives. The adhesive is recommended for exterior and interior work, in areas with high humidity, with working temperatures between +5℃ and +25℃, protected from direct sunlight. "IZObeton SUPERIOR" is recommended for facing with ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, decorative stone and porcelain of small, medium, and large sizes (up to 60x120 cm), of various types and thicknesses (0.5-5cm), marble, granite, polystyrene boards on mineral surfaces (concrete, plaster, etc.), as well as for reinforcing fixed thermal insulation systems.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Ensure that the surface is straight, well cleaned of dust, dirt, paint, and grease stains. Apply a layer of Primer on hard surfaces (concrete, cement-based plaster), or BetonContact on surfaces made of gypsum boards, AAC blocks, and polystyrene, etc. Apply the adhesive on both surfaces: the polystyrene/ceramic tile and the surface to which the polystyrene/tile is being applied. When using the adhesive for water-absorbing tiles (clay-based or with clay additives), they must be soaked in a container with water for about 5 minutes, then removed before use.

ADHESIVE PREPARATION

Mix the entire quantity of mixture uniformly in a container with water using a low-speed mixer, then leave it for 5-10 minutes to obtain a homogeneous mass, after which mix it again before use.

• For walls: 0.2 liters of water per 1kg of dry mixture
• For floor: 0.25 liters of water per 1kg of dry mixture

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Perform work at temperatures between +5℃ and +25℃. Apply the adhesive uniformly on the prepared surface with the flat side of the notched metal trowel, then process with the notched side at a 90° angle. Place the polystyrene/ceramic tile on the prepared mixture layer on the surface, then press it slowly with circular movements. If the surface on which the tile is applied has been treated with primer or beton-contact, its position can be adjusted for 25-30 minutes. Apply only the amount of material that can be tiled within the open bonding time. The open bonding time may be reduced in conditions of high temperature or air currents. In this situation, when lightly touching the adhesive layer, it no longer sticks to the fingers, and a thin film forms on the surface of the material. In this case, apply the adhesive again on the support and comb it again to break the formed film. It is recommended to press the board firmly on the support and adjust it with slight lateral movements to ensure a minimum 75% contact with the support layer through the adhesive. The prepared adhesive can be used for approximately 90-120 minutes. Use only clean containers and tools.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

Store the dry mixture in rooms with air humidity up to 60%, on wooden pallets, in undamaged bags. Shelf life: 12 months from the production date (indicated on the bag). The manufacturer is not responsible for cases where all the steps indicated above are not followed.
