Base material in paving and bricks

It is used in the production of ceramic tiles, masonry blocks, and refractory bricks due to its resistance to high temperatures. In pavements, quartz sand increases wear resistance.

In the base layer for roads and foundations

Due to its compaction and drainage capacity, quartz sand is used as a foundation layer under roads or buildings to prevent settling.

Additive in finishing materials

It is included in the composition of putties, decorative plasters, and textured paints to improve adhesion and resistance. Creates decorative effects (e.g., "sandblasted effect"). It is also used in self-leveling floors.

Thermal and acoustic insulation

Quartz sand can be incorporated into insulating materials (for example, in combination with resins) to reduce heat or noise transfer.
